South Carolina whooping up on Mizzou 21-0 still in the first half.
UCLA has the lead over Northwestern 29-22 at the half, this one should have a pretty exciting finish.

Miami and LSU play tonight and as bad as I hate to pick against the SEC, I'm gonna say Miami wins 21-17. LSU may not score that much with Russell out for this game.

My #2 team rallied to get it done over Minnesota in the Music City bowl 34-31. Way to go Cavs!
Now if my Canes can TCB, i'll be doing allright.

the UVA and Minnesota game was a good one. Al Groh was the defensive coordinator, linebacker and secondary coach today. They made the right adjustments at halftime and come out in the second half and took it to the Gophers. Great win for the Hoos!

You all watching this game now-South Carolina/ Mizzou? Geez, my little boy's p-nut team could do better defensively than the kittens. That defense isn't giving any effort at all. USC is using one man to single-handedly beat them. Watch out for So Ca next year. there's alot of freshmen playing on the field for the Cocks today.

Unchained, can you imagine Glenn Mason coaching the canes with Shannon still running the defense. My god the dude won at Kansas, imagine what he could do with Coker's unachieving talent.

Funny that you say that, because that same thought crossed my mind today. I wonder when Shannon will get his chance to be the head man somewhere? You have to figure it's just a matter of time. Here's hoping that it's at The U.

If he does become the next coach at miami I can only hope and pray that he is smart enough to bring in an outsider to be the OC. Either that or hope and pray that Dorsey doesnt find a backup spot anywhere after he gets cut from the niners. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Mason coaches that offense very well, the blocking is tremendous, the playcalling is excellent, and they run plays like slants that arent even in miami's playbook. I can only dream that we ever get an interior offensive lineman like Eslinger. I just think that whoever is miami's next head coach, they need to know offense. The D has never been a problem. Last year the only real reason why the D was bad was because it was too young and there were too many blown assignments.

Heres hoping that Coker sees the light, 2 times in the last 3 years we have wasted a national championship defense.

You hit the nail on the head. Good post. It coulld be worse though: look at UT this year with that defense and a losing season.

I was going to make a reply to mega about that, you could substitute UT for UM in his post and you'd hardly notice the difference. Should see big changes next year for UT with Cutcliffe back. They start the season with top 10 Cal though.
